aREAL® receives the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” label
aREAL® by immovativ GmbH in Germany has been awarded the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label, a proof of high standards in profitability and sustainability.
aREAL® is a digital platform that covers the entire process of recording, digitizing, qualifying and activating inner-city development potentials such as vacancies, brownfields, unused areas, redensification areas and expansion potential. aREAL® enables map-based presentation of development potential from various data sources and formats of a municipality or city. By activating these inner-city areas, it helps cities and municipalities to quickly activate areas for affordable housing and digitally combat vacancies.
Despite numerous approaches, it has not yet been possible for cities to sustainably reduce the land consumption of ecologically valuable areas. At the same time, cities and municipalities have great inner-city development potential that could be tapped quickly. Immovativ develops digital solutions for sustainable urban development and thus makes an important contribution by combating climate change. The digital products of immovativ GmbH support active urban development, vacancy management and digital marketing of residential and commercial real estate. With aREAL®, municipalities and cities can digitize the entire process of developing city centers. The aREAL® software helps to reduce land consumption by automatically identifying, recording, digitizing, qualifying, activating and marketing local development potential and can be used in all cities and communities worldwide.
aREAL® was attributed the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label following an assessment performed by external independent experts and based on verified standards. It is thereby joining the #1000solutions challenge, an initiative by the Solar Impulse Foundation to select solutions that meet high standards in profitability and sustainability and present them to decision-makers to fast-track their implementation.
To receive the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label, aREAL® was thoroughly assessed by a pool of independent experts according to 5 criteria covering the three main topics of Feasibility, Environmental and Profitability. All labelled solutions are part of the #1000solutions portfolio that will be presented to decision-makers in business and government by Bertrand Piccard, Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation. The aim of this initiative is to encourage the adoption of more ambitious environmental targets and fast-track the implementation of these solutions on a large scale.
